Språkvask

Applications for funding from e.g. the Norwegian Research Council have to be submitted in English. Poor use of the English language can negatively impact the reviewer's overall impression of the proposal. This can in turn result in a non-favourable response on behalf of the reviewer. To avoid that applications sent from the Department of Biomedicine are dismissed due to poor use of the English language, the Department Council announces that those who would like to have their proposal read by a native English-speaker within the Department prior to submission now have this opportunity.

To be eligible for this support you have to follow the following instructions: • Text to be edited has to be provided as a Word file. • The text has to be provided at least 2 weeks ahead of application deadline. Please send the application text by email to the research coordinator at the department
